VIRGINIA'S STORY: Eddie Garretson helped form the Springfield Challenger Baseball program as part of the West Springfield Little League. In 2001, Eddie’s team and another team from Virginia Beach were honored with an invitation from President George W. Bush to play t-ball on the south lawn of the White House. “The president was so hands on, it was a fantastic experience.”
